Men don't need no educay-shun… or do they?

In the future, the question of equality is likely to shift inexorably from a concern for women, to concern for men.

This has been coming for some time, but some news just reported fundamentally changes our perception. In an article named "The Weaker Sex", The Economist reports information from the OECD that illustrates the startling rise of women/fall of men in terms of education.

In a world of robots, algorithms and other clever AI, where the rote, easy-peasy tasks will increasingly be taken, education is likely to be more important. Humans will have to move up the value chain. Those who have the better education, and ability to make the most of their inborn creativity, will fare better. Given the OECD's stats, it looks like that'll be women in future.
