There's been a lot of excitement recently about Elon Musk's battery, and how, in the long term, it could remove the need for the electricity grid.
But there's another new development could also be exciting in terms of reducing energy costs. A British company called Xefro has worked some clever magic with new wonder material graphene, and has found a way to save between 25% and 70% of a building's energy costs.
And this isn't some idea from the future: it's available July 2015.
